What happens at TWH Meet the Surgeon?

Hi all,

I have my Meet the Surgeon on Friday! Shout out to NoirChat who also does too! Yay!!!

We we're both wondering what happens at that appointment?

I was told to bring a credit card to buy Opti. Do I meet with someone after to do administrative stuff? What actually happens with the surgeon?

I met with the nurse first, she went over the paperwork and consent forms with me. I also had my weight and blood pressure measured. Went over recent medical information. She also provided the opti order form.

After I met with the surgeon who went over the surgery with me again and reviewed my medical history. He told me I was a good candidate to proceed and then asked if I had any questions, I didn't but my sister had a couple so she asked and he answered. He gave me my surgery date/prep date, and then told me to hand in my opti order to the front desk. As I was going to be on slimtime I got the order form for that at the front desk.

Why SlimTime instead of Opti? Just curious. :)

I am aspartame sensitive, (they trigger migraines) so I was offered slimtime by the dietician instead of opti!

Three weeks :(

What time will you be there? I have my 6 month follow up with the nutritionist at 4:00 so I will be at the clinic on Friday too!

Have you moved to the east end yet? If life isn't too busy, it'd be great to meet up for a coffee before you head out of country! If you're busy, I totally get it!!
