Been quiet lately

Hi Everyone

I have been rather quickly lately. I am sure many of us are having busy summers but this one seems to be the busiest I can remember. Work is busy, family life is busy, my husband owns a company and he has worked almost every day (including weekends), and for the icing on the cake we adopted another Basset Hound whom is 4, not house-trained and is currently in heat. Hopefully everything is starting to wind down and I can be more active here and help with support and just lending an ear or a joke!

Good to hear from you. Sounds like you have a ton going on. Hopefully you're finding time to make yourself a priority too in all of this.

I hope things calm down for you soon. No doubt that new Bassett is so much happier with her new loving home and you'll have her trained in no time. I know they are notoriously hard to house train. I have a Bassett cross and it was 6 years til she stopped having the occasional accident. Now she holds it for hours because she's a bit of a lump and sometimes would rather sleep than get up and go! Haha
