NSV and moment of shame

NSV - Last week I was having a very late night followed by an extra early morning. As always, in the past, I thought the night before "its ok, I can have a nap tomorrow to make up for it". The next day came and went with no nap. Thats when it hit me - I can't remember the last time I napped! For me this is huge! I was someone pre-surgery who napped A LOT. Usually 1-2 hrs in the morning and another hour or so before dinner. I was ALWAYS tired. I don't feel that way anymore. It's not the I feel like running a marathon or anything like that, but I'm definitely not dragging myself around like I used too.

Now, my moment of shame. I was out with the family yesterday. We were relaxing and they were all eating chips. The smell of the BBQ chips was extra tempting for me. I asked my son to give me one chip, and then I licked it. Yup! I licked the flavouring off the chip. My children burst out into laughter while my husband just shook his head. NOT MY FINEST MOMENT

Lol I think we have all done that at some point! We are human. Your Nsv is great too. I never was a napper but my sister is and I wish she would have this surgery!

You're hilarious!!! That's all great! I nap sometimes and have recently been thinking post WLS if my need for naps will be gone. I love that you posted that cause it affirms what I thought! And licking a chip. Haha.

That's so great that you are feeling less tired now and don't need your naps! And you are a naughty chip-licker!! LOL So funny

Awesome NSV!

Too funny about the chip. When I crave BBQ chips I buy the Quest Protein BBQ chips and I love them. Some people say they don't like them, but I do. They're crunchy, and have a serious BBQ taste. Super high protein, low carb, low cal. I only buy them once in a while because they're so expensive.

I was actually looking at those at GNC last night. They seem interesting but yes, very pricey. I think they had them on for 8 bags/$27 or something like that (and they weren't big bags).

I was going to check if I could buy a single bag to try, but looked on here first and read many bad reviews.

Reading your post, I think i will actually give the BBQ a try. thanks

Too funny. When we were camping, I did not lick, but I did sniff all the chips in the bowl I was giving to my grandson; we both laughed. He thought I was being funny - but I was just fulfilling a need.
