So, I haven't had to deal with my allergies being to bad lately, but this week they have been unbearable. I'm suffering from insanely dry red itchy eyes....

my question is... since I can't call my center on the weekend and my eyes are so bad it's making things hard to do... what can we take for allergies???

I take Reactine for my allergies and they said that was fine at TWH.

Thank you! Some days my eyes are so red I'm afraid to leave the house. I have to, but I don't go far.

I take two cetirizine (sp?) per day and it was OK'd by my surgeon/doctor. It was one of my meds from preop.

It's a common anitihistimine, found in many different brands of store brand allergy pills, and also via prescription. It's non drowsy. Reactine, Zyrtec, even a generic brand at Walmart are some of the ones I've seen.
