Post Op 15 mos

Good morning! Sounds like it's going to be a scorcher today. Although they said that yesterday, and I was able to get out and do 5.85 kms at lunch. .15 more to hit 6 but my partner was moving a little slower. Ready for the gym this morning, I'll do a 15 min cardio warm up on the "skater" machine and then hit the pool.

I think my Trucker is a little tired of my "dieting". Whenever I mention my calorie intake for the day I swear his eyes roll back in his head. He always says "remember what you burned off". Of course my response is that I don't eat back exercise calories.....he thinks I should. I'm not obsessing about my weight (like I used to). I wouldn't mind losing another 10 - 15 lbs to help buffer the regain but if it doesn't happen that's okay too. I'm not sure I have it to lose, sometimes I look at myself in the mirror and see the skinny person that I am now, but sometimes I think oh, look at that roll!! Fat girls still resides within!

Anyway, on to the eats:

B - bacon / tomato sandwich on 35 calorie bread, 2 tbsp. light mayo

S - skyr vanilla yogurt (100 gr) with 20 gr coconut clusters

L - Cobb salad - so yummy yesterday made the same today minus the strip of bacon, it got lost in all the other meaty goodness yesterday so why add the calories

S - devilled egg, cherries

D - roasted chicken, 2 tbsp. gravy

Total Cal 1043, Carbs 68 (yikes) Protein 93

Trying to figure out what maintenance meals should be for me. Trial and error. So far the scale is cooperating.

Rock this day!!

Over 100 lbs lost! and 13 lbs below goal weight!

Wow. I re-read yesterday eats thread and you are all so much more inventive than me. I need to plan more and be more detailed I think. Here is my plan for today:

breakfast: premier protein shake

snack: Greek yogurt

lunch: cheeseburger pie

snack: Greek yogurt

dinner: turkey sausage, sliced cucumber

snack: sugar free rice pudding

i do not get many fruits or veggies in yet. Love the easy stuff. Haven't mapped out all the macros but approx 700 Calories and 80 grams of protein.

Snack - egg, pickles

Lunch - chicken

Snack - Greek yogurt

Dinner - bunless cheeseburger

Snack - protein shake

All water and vits.

Post Op VSG 10 months

Been having a rough couple of days - been so busy with work that even though I plan out a full day of meals I've only been able to eat about half. Just haven't had the time to squeeze more food in, and my energy levels have been down the drain. Woke up this morning and felt like I've been hit by a bus, oof. Need to make sure I'm eating enough to fuel my body, and maybe increasing carbs from veggies and fruits if I need to.

Today's eats:

B: Chocolate Premier Protein w/ 1tsp instant hazelnut coffee

L: 1 Cup spinach, 1 hard boiled egg, 1.5oz chicken souvlaki, 12g feta cheese, 10g salad dressing

D: 3oz Salmon, 1.5oz steamed broccoli, 15g light feta cheese

S1: 1 babybel, 0.5oz pistachio, 1 mini chicken sausage

S2: 4oz apple splices, 20g peanut butter

Totals: 946cals, 40g carbs - 14g fiber = 26 net carbs, 97g protein

Well working as usual till 6pm then racing off to the ball diamond to catch my son's game. It starts at 6pm so I'll be changing from my office clothes at about 5:50 so I can run out of here at 6pm.

I'm later posting today but apparently I ate lunch or didn't chew well enough so the steak I ate got stuck so I got foamies and had to throw up. So now the rest of the day will be liquid because I don't want to test it.

B: Premier protein & decaf

L: 2 oz steak and onion

D: Premier protein

S: Premier protein

Calories 553, protein 106, carbs 18

Your menu today looks great! I think I might have to replicate it for myself tomorrow. I sometimes find I tend to eat a lot of the same things.

Skyr with coconut clusters is one of my FAVORITE snacks!
