Taking vitamins while on Optifast

I know every clinic is different, but after reading some posts I'm not sure .. are we suppose to continue taking our vitamins while on optifast? I wasn't told not to and I cant find anywhere where it says not to ? Will call the clinic, but thought I would ask on here ...

Which clinic are you from? I'm from the Hamilton St Joes clinic and I'm still required to take all meds and vitamins as prescribed. If your unsure I would call the clinic your going through for verification . Good luck on your journey!

I'm at Humber . I called this morning and yes I'm still to take them . I was reading a lot of posts last night that said they weren't suppose to take them because opti has all the vitamins in it . I got a little worried there for a min as I'm 5 days in on Optifast.

I was wondering this--- it is on my list of questions... you are all awesome..

I'm doing the Optifast/medical program and we were told not to take vitamins unless specifically prescribed by our Doctor while on the Optifast. However, we're on it for a long time (I'm in week 13 now) and not having surgery afterwards.

I think it's a centre by centre basis. I had my orientation today and I asked this. I was told you still take all your pills/vitamins on optifast.
