2 Months Out

Hard to believe its been 2 months since surgery.

Weight loss was super slow for my second month. I lost 7.1lbs. Since I started Opti (May 2) I have lost a total of 34.6lbs. I am happy with that! I am SO close to Onderland - sitting at 200.9lbs!

For the most part I feel amazing, I had this idea in my head that I would feel like an outcast, but I don't. I have been out on dates with my partner where food has been involved but the only thing that feels different is that I have a few bites and I feel satisfied. I don't even have the desire to eat more - which to me is an amazing feeling. I usually look for a high protein appetizer or chicken breast or him and I will share something.

I have started doing some cardio, but not consistently. I would like to go to the gym on a regular basis once the doctor tells me its okay. I do not feel low energy, I have noticed some hair loss (shedding) and I imagine that is just the beginning. I cut my hair (it was down to my butt) right after surgery because I felt like it would be less traumatic. I am definitely noticing the changes in my body and some people close to me have also complimented me on them. Definitely no regrets!
