Meet the Surgeon and Endoscope
The surgeon was concerned with my history of reflux and vomiting. He wants to know what he is dealing with. If there is a hiatal hernia he can fix it at the same time of the RNY. Everyone does not automatically have to have one.

Hi. I had one done and I was sedated. I don't remember anything and I felt fine afterward.

So glad that you like your surgeon, and congrats on being so close to surgery! So exciting!
I've never had an endoscope but it sounds like the people who had them don't remember them so that must be good news as well :-).
Sort of like surgery...I spent so much time dreading it and then I just remember being asked to breathe...then I was being woken up and told that the surgery was a big success. It was over in a blink of an eye, to me, lol.

You'll do great! My ticker was at 0 Lbs lost only 6 months ago, and I used to read all of the posts here and think the same thing, I hope I can be successful. As long as we follow our food plans, it's doable! You'll do it.
