What are you eating/doing Tuesday?
So last night was my first successful night shift post surgery. I had been limited to day shift by occupational health for the last month after my diasterous patient boost that inflamed my insides. On night shift the demands on your body are much heavier as assistance is limited as less staff are available and patient assignments increase to 7 - 10.
So to make a long story short, my eating is all upside down.
Overnight (7:30 pm to 7:30 am): 1premier protein shake and 1L of water
This morning: Decaf milky coffee with 1/4 premier protein shake (it would have been a 1/2 shake if I did not fall asleep with it in my hand and spill it).
Just Now:8 oz water while I switched over the laundry and saved the cat from the basement.
Planned Food (5pm): Skye Yogurt with SF Syrup and Prevacid, iron patch on
(6:30 pm) 1/2 premier protein, multivitamin and b12
Overnight:
1 premier protein, maybe 2.... and at least a litre of water.
the vitamins have been a challenge as I took them during the day yesterday but sleeping through the day today - so I will be taking a few cal citrate overnight tonight.
I know it sounds as boring as heck, feels it too but protein and water first still the necessary approach especially when working and no time to chew.
