It is great to see you back here and completely understandable for some time away.
Have you talked with your nurse? I have Sherri and I have found she is great to talk with. Maybe she could shed some light on it and/or talk with him; the nurses after all do drive the process in Hamilton.

Thanks gbears. I'm glad things are moving along for you. My nurse is Eugenie and she has messed up a few things so far. ..ie/ sent me for bloodwork, but did not have my requisition ready for them then I had to go back and get another nurse to do it...and...did not give the ECG the paperwork they needed, then I had to go back to the clinic and get them to fill out the information correctly. All in all, I am not really that happy with Hamilton so far. I really feel that no one there is taking me seriously, and it's a bit distressing. Although, the dietician was ok. I meant to call her yesterday but got held up. I will try next week.

Wow. That's frustrating too.
Do you feel like you have any options in all of this? Some things that come to mind may be something like requesting a different nurse be assigned to you, or putting a request in to transfer to Guelph. I'm sure there are other options too.
Another option, of course, is to stay the course.
I still have my prayers going for you. I'm so sorry to learn of all your tribulations.

I am so sorry Barb. It is like we have had totally different experiences since the group class and possibly all tied to a different nurse. I like the suggestion about requesting a change. I would even call and to talk to Sherri. She does have compassion and seems good with working with the system. I would talk to her about all the issues so far. Obviously since you had a good relationship with your Dietician you should talk to her first. My thoughts go out to you! Feel free to reach out any time!

That really is so frustrating to have your process held up by one specialist, and not have it within your control. I imagine any one of us would be feeling equally frustrated- I know I would.
This whole process really plays in our emotions, no matter our individual journey. It is such an emotional roller coaster. I had a dream I woke up from surgery and found out they removed my liver instead of doing RNY (completely illogical, I know they would never remove a liver, but I guess all the talk of Opti had me worried about my liver!). My point is, I know I will honestly worry about getting the surgery done until I wake up from surgery and someone tells me it was successful.
I don't think that's much help to you, other than to say: I think we all really understand how stressful this is, and truly empathize. My fingers are crossed for you and I am sending loads of positive energy out into the universe that this vitamin issue clears up quickly for you, and you have an easy journey from here in in.

That really is bad.
