Two months + a day till surgery

Waiting for a call from the nurse to book the pre-op appointment. waiting to hear from the optifast people to see when they will be sending me my SECOND pile of optifast.

That's exciting! I'm sure the summer will both go by so fast and seem to crawl.

I know! June has already been like that. i have had my date for a bit. and up until yesterday it seemed like forever away, now suddenly it is two months. wow it is just weird how time acts in our brains

How come you have to do a second round of OptiFast?

Thank you for your support. my first round of OptiFast was almost finished, my father passed away two days before my booked surgery. so i had to reschedule. with the big gap between dates (march 27th and September 5) i need to redo the opti to compensate for any fatty deposits on my liver that may have accumulated since march

but i am all ready for it. totally prepared.
(read that i am nervous i think i have gained a little weight not a lot just about 5-10 lbs. have to work the rest of the summer to get rid of it)

So sorry about your father's passing. But I'm glad you are ready for the surgery now and getting prepped! The time will fly by now.
