What are you eating/doing Tuesday?

Good morning everyone,

I'm not posting my food as I'm having exactly the same as I did yesterday. Exactly. What's interesting about that is it isn't bad news. It just means that I have prepared in advance, I was satisfied with what I ate, I know that it is protein rich and carb poor, and I'm starting to become disinterested in food. That isn't to say that I don't enjoy variety or eating fresh, nutritious food. It just means that I'm not tempted by food choices that I would have been in the past and am eating because I know I need to, not because I have cravings. I'm learning the difference between hunger (not really existent, but there is a need to have some food in my pouch regularly as taught) and head hunger. Thankfully I still have restrictions and my focus on mindful eating is working well for me. I just need to slow down.

Enjoy your day everyone.

* I'm taking a friend out to dinner for her birthday and she has chosen a pizza place (no), a burger place (maybe) or a vegan juice bar (got to check it out). Isn't eating in so much simpler. It will be my first time and I will do the research in advance and take lots home for my next two or three meals. Not a bad challenge to have!

Good morning :)

It's been a crazy morning already -- DH (weird to call him that) had an ear test appointment this morning as his ears have been bothering him. We thought he was going to miss the appointment because he got called in to work suddenly. We ended up making it and they didn't find anything. Now he needs to find a family doctor in this area.

Then I ran off to get my car washed which is my reward for losing more than five pounds before the wedding (he didn't make his 10 pound goal), but we continue to eat better together.

My grandparents had their big moving day yesterday but there are still a few things at the house and we need to clean. It's going to be so weird not going to that house anymore. I've had Christmas at that house my whole life, and lived there for over 10 years with them. It will be nice to see them settled where they don't have as much to look after day to day.

Breakfast - protein shake

Snack - peameal bacon

Lunch - ham and cheese

Snack - Greek yogurt

Dinner - beef roast

Snack - protein shake

All water and vits.

What does DH stand for? Designated Hunk? I guess we're not supposed to use first names but as I'm not all that interesting, I have never worried. Boy, does this site have some interesting terminology.

Lol it's not just an OH thing, it's common on online boards - DH is dear husband, you can have DW - dear wife, DD - dear daughter, DS - dear son, MIL - mother in law, etc. I used to refer to him as my SO (significant other), but we got married last weekend ;)

I knew you had a wedding last weekend, saw the beautiful picture - just didn't know it was you. Congratulations! You truly looked beautiful and happy.

What Meg said, but my DH is Trucker...so if you see me say my Trucker, you know who I'm talking about.

I don't go on the US forum often either. I like my Ontario people! :) I do go sometimes but it's maybe once every few weeks. Please don't go anyone! I'm still new - only 5 months out and need the inspiration!

Working like usual today but my son has a ball game at 6pm tonight. So I'll be attending that like normal. Dishes tonight and watching a series finale tonight after ball. Didn't eat my steak last night so it's on the menu tonight.

B: Premier protein

L: devilled egg (1 full egg)

D: Steak (tenderloin - my fave)

S: Premier Protein (this "snack" will be around dinner as dinner will be after 8pm which I hate doing but we have to be at ball at 5:15pm).

S: Nectar fuzzy peach

Cals: 700, protein 114, carbs 11

Edited: Was going to pita pit for my "salad" at lunch but the power was out at that end of town.... had to go get something else. Devilled eggs it was.
