Good morning all. Looking at the weather I am really glad we decided not to go camping.

Went to ribfest for dinner last night. Really awful food. On the way home we stopped into the LCBO. For those who do not know me I am one month from my 66th birthday and have a full head of grey hair. I was carded! She said she hit the wrong button and had to ask for my ID and refused to finish the purchase until I showed her ID. Then we went to Starbucks and they were out of the coffee I like to drink and my DH likes. Not a great night.

Off to a breakfast this morning. If it is a standard I will have egg and sausage.

Hi Menu friends, and happy Father's Day!

Pat, sorry you had such a rough day yesterday. How cool that you got carded though, lol.

It's pouring rain, with thunder and lightning here in the North, so no bike rides or walking for me. The pool heater is broken so I don't know what I'll do; perhaps take a day off, lol.

I'm celebrating Father's Day/my birthday (which is tomorrow) with a family dinner with parents, aunt, and uncles today.

Yesterday my friend and I celebrated with a long walk and a visit to the local antique car show, then shopping. She had RNY surgery 9 years ago and is happy I finally joined her on this journey, and we had a blast trying on clothes in "regular" stores instead of plus sized stores. It was the first time we've done that together (even though she's been in regular sizes for over 8 years, it's new to me, lol). I tried on a lovely top in a size large (down from 4X-5X) but didn't buy it because it was buy one, get the second half off, and I couldn't find a second top I liked enough to justify the money when I"m still losing, but now I kind of regret not getting it.

I ate some pork rinds as a snack yesterday and the day before, happy they were low carb/calorie, with some protein, but I think the salt content is too high as I'm retaining so much water today. Unless the humidity is doing that. Either way, my face, hands, and ankles are super puffy today.

Breakfast: 2 decaf coffee with 80 ml premier protein in each.

Lunch: Shrimp

Supper: Steak

Snacks: strawberries with lite coolwhip/pepperette and string cheese

All fluids and vitamins.

Totals: Calories: 553, Carbs: 14, Fat: 27, Fibre: 2, Protein: 67, Sugar: 8

Hi Everyone,

Thats funny about the LCBO story Pat. I'm 56 and just started to grow out my grey hair. Last week when I was at the cash at Shopper's Drug Mart, I was asked if I wanted the Senior's discount. I just about died. ...and so it begins. I did take the discount though!
