Stomach ache when I don't eat on time!

I have an ulcer and this is what i felt like. I ended up going to the hospital and they treated me right then and there. A ppi may not be the only thing to help. Im on 2 different meds when i found out i was pregnant i was advised to stop takig them and the ulcer perforated. I may not wait and just go to the hosp. My opinion. They did a scope and ct scan and mri and kept me for a few days.

Thanks so much for the info! I started back on my ppi, hopefully I feel better from that but if not I may have to take a trip to the hospital! What actually would cause a ulcer?

There are many factors. High acidity, not the right foods... also 4% of wls patients get ulcers - i would talk to your gp and get a proper diagnosis. The antacid from the hosp wasnt good enough for the ulcer... just be sure

Feel better soon Angela....fortunately I don't have any advice for you other then don't wait...listen to your body.. ..sounds like it's trying to tell you that maybe something is just not right. Good luck and keep us informed. The pain isn't normal as when I don't eat I get a headache or light headed...but no pain.
