4 Months Post Op

Hi Angela,

We dont get a 4 month post op check up. Ours is 1 month...3 months...6 months and then a year. It's crazy how quick our bodies change after surgery.. ..just when I thought I would be wearing a certain summer outfit...i try it on an off to the donate pile it goes lol. You are doing awesome...and more importantly you feel you are.

Keep up the awesome work my hospital roomie!! Look forward to our next update.

I have only gone once to see the doctor here for my 1 month and I talked with our surgeon about a week later. My only appointment I have now is in August on the 16th. Don't know why? Thanks for the kind words!

Through this process you have become a mentor and a friend. At only 5 weeks ahead of me (and Doug much further), I appreciate your posts, questions and answers, encouragement and inspiration. You are doing so well and celebrating members' successes are so important in this journey - as well as being supportive during the challenges.

I am encouraged and inspired by others. I have cherished our messages and letters as much as you. Although Doug and I have both been through it and we support each other.. ..its still nice to share with another woman as men do lose quicker lol.

So wonderful that your sweetie is your partner in crime, and knows exactly what you're going through because he went through it himself first. I love how you support one another.

Isn't it amazing how fast time flies after surgery? I'll be 5 months post op next week! Where did the time go, lol?

Thanks Kathy and I do feel lucky to have him. Yes time sure does go by fast post op. Pre op feels like it takes forever. Thanks again Kathy for all your kind words.
