blu-dot protein tea
Hi all,
Amzmommy and I were shopping at Sobeys today and found Blu-Dot protein tea. Looks really interesting.
$2.49, 10 grams of protein (whey isolate), 90 calories, 5 grams of fiber, 6 grams of sugar.
It's made in Canada by a Canadian company. It's gluten free and sweetened with Stevia.
Has anyone tried this? Or have an opinion to share?

Awesome!!! I'm a plain water girl, but I hear of so many people who have a hard time with plain water post surgery, I am trying to learn about different options. I'll check out the others you mentioned. Thanks!

Sounds like a great option! Thanks for the tip! The prebiotic content is very attractive and I think Stevia is a good choice for sweetener. Awesome find.

Thanks for sharing. It will be a great option post surgery during the clear fluid stage. I am going to pick some up today.

Might be one problem, green tea is caffeinated. Most centres want you drinking decaf. Personally I think the decaf thing is BS but many want to stick to what the centre says so unless they make a decaf version of it, that could be a problem for some.
Great point, Tracey. I hadn't thought of it. (Wow there is a lot to remember!!) Thanks for that perspective. My centre said caffeine is fine, with moderation of course... but I know most centres don't allow it.

"Just a thought not to get too hooked on items that will later be a problem"
I love it. Thank you.
When we saw it, we were thinking maybe it was like the Premier Protein Clear we've heard so much about but can't get in Canada and we were excited there was "an option". I think you're right though... 1- how much is really absorbed, and 2- how much will I just paletize myself into something new that will later be less optimal for me in a future stage.
Great food for thought!!!
