Ok..the protein powder mixed with milk and poured in coffee was awesome yesterday...not so much today. I think I need to make is fresh every time (in the blender). I mixed enough for four coffees and stored it in the fridge. I did put it back in the blender, but it congealed when I added it to a hot coffee. So...it is awesome when made fresh at room temperature. Just a heads up to all who may want to try it after reading my last post!

Ok since I have been experimenting and reading obsessively on this topic - I will share:

You need to have a "moisturizer for whey" if adding to soups, sauces or baking: yogurt, pumpkin puree, cottage or cream cheese or nut butters . You cannot add whey powder to anything hot because as Barb stated it congeals.. and yes its gross.

I have ruined many dinners and desserts but I am getting the hang of it.

To add to a broth.. wait until it's warm not hot and add the whey paste ( powder and milk).

As I stated before I add it to almond butter and peanut butter but not too much ( 1/2 TBLSP) to every tablespoon of butters.

Also if you GOOGLE how to add whey to you food they tell you how to bake

Hope this helps- Thanks Barb for opening the thread!!
