Hello...we are both post op and 45 min away from London as of a month from now. Always will to answer questions or share experiences.

Thank you so much. I'm so new to this. I'm already struggling with lack of support and had my first breakdown today. Family can be so insensitive sometimes.

I am also from London. As mentioned above there is a lot of support on this site. You may also be interested in the support group that meets at St. Josephs Health Centre the last Sunday of the month, except for July and August.

I'm not from London... that being said, I wanted to welcome you and say I'm sorry to hear you are having difficulties with your family members. Yes, they sure can be insensitive sometimes.

This journey can feel difficult and lonely. I've found being on this board to be the most amazing thing for me. If you are looking for understanding, a sympathetic "ear" or advice, you came to the right place. In addition to your local support groups, feel free to start a thread about what happened with your family. Start another if you have questions about the process. You'll find a whole province of support!
