I know there are stalls but....
I'm really beginning to wonder if I am doing something wrong.
Let me preface this by saying that I lost a lot of weight Pre-op. 98lbs from my highest and 75 since the time I started the bariatric process.
I have lost 25 since surgery on May 04 but the last 2 weeks have been barely a pound. Since I'm only getting in around 600 calories a day, I know I'll not overeating. I'll following the plan from the clinic, and keeping my macros on target as best I can.
So my questionis : after the '3 week stall', ( which is in week 5) what does the typical weight loss rate look like ?

oooh babies. Congratulations.
Dilly, see my timeline. Weight loss is different for all of us. I was 404lbs, so I think because of that alone, I lost more quicker that someone looking to lose weight at a lighter weight than me. My thinking is we're essentially all eating the same diets now,,but a 400 pounder would lose more than a 250 pounder...no? LOL
Even though there is no real average, this is a very common result. That is 20 pounds in month one, ten pounds a month for months two through six, then five pounds a month for months seven through twelve. That is a total of 100 pounds lost in the first year.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
I lost 20 lbs in the first month and now I think I may be in a stall as well. I am also just finishing my period which was much longer then usual, so maybe that has something to do with it. Anyways, you are not alone! I feel like every time I weigh myself it's the same number.
