And .... I am home!

Hello everyone!!! Wednesday was my RNY at 1pm. Arrived home around 4pm yesterday. Took 3 doses of morphine since yesterday at 8am. Was still taking liquid tylenol and crushed tramadol up until 9pm yesterday. I took my tylenol this morning, my celebrate MV and tried to take the protein powder I bought. BLECH! Made a run out to costco and bought the premade premier protein. I am not in a ton of pain, i can feel the air moving through but am burping and have BMs without issue. Aside from the tenderness you would never know I am fresh out of surgery. SO HAPPY!!!!!

wow, you are doing fantastic!!! I'll try not to be jealous as you are better than I am at 1 week post-op - LOL

Keep up the great work and good luck with the rest of your recovery.

TheRealMeWithin - I remember your post on Day 2, It terrified me. I am sorry you are still struggling. You know that this is all worth the pain and difficulty for the end result. My prayers stay with you. We are so close together I hope we can continue to share. :D

I love seeing where the Losers Benchwarmers are at different amount of time post-op - It is inspiring!

Congrats on feeling good and being home! I didn't have a lot of pain either and I felt blessed. I was out and about a few days after surgery and people couldn't believe I was up and around. Welcome to the Loser's Bench.

Tuktu - I am still not feeling much pain but I find that I tire very easily. I am thrilled that I will be able to get to church on Sunday :D I didn't know if I was going to be up to that.
