What are you eating/doing Friday?
Post Op 13+ mos
Good morning menu gang! Happy Friday!! Been to the gym this morning, and today is Friday so its Stair Challenge day at work (a different challenge every Friday). I will be running up and down the stairs all day in the hopes of winning a prize!! Had a nice bon fire last night and the doggies were out playing in the yard. They didn't want to get up this morning, and neither did I. The commitment of morning workout buddies!! LOL
Not a full plan as of yet, but I' can get it started. Going out for lunch with a friend so not sure what that will be.
B1 - 4 slices of bacon
B2 - premier protein shake
S - 2 HB eggs
That's all I got for now. Have an awesome Friday.....Oh yeah, playing in a ball tournament tomorrow and off to the Jays game on Sunday. Will check back in on Monday!!
Good morning :)
I forgot to mention this yesterday, but I had my first soccer game Wednesday night. I am sooooo sore lol. There were only enough people for two teams and we played for 1.5 hours pretty much straight. I'm sure it will get better as the summer goes on :)
Today I have a massage, which may hurt more with the soccer muscle pain. It will probably be the last one as my back/hip is getting better. Then I have to pick up the puppy from the hospital. The house was way too quiet yesterday. I have to keep him quiet for 8 weeks. I have no idea how I will do that with a rambunctious puppy.
Breakfast - protein shake
Snack - carrots and pb
Lunch - chicken and salad
Snack - peameal bacon
Dinner - maybe burger...? I think we only have one left
Snack - pudding
All water and vits.
Hi everyone!
I've had a rough evening and morning so far. It was my husband's birthday 2 days ago. We went to a restaurant for dinner and I felt really good about what I had and have been feeling great since doing a cleanse. My sister came by yesterday with a cake for my husband. I thought I would have one small slice. Well, the slices never ended..even this morning. Now I feel yucky. Anyway, I am on track for the rest of the day.
On Monday I will be having a colonoscopy so I will need to fast (clear fluids only) tomorrow, Sunday and most of Monday. My procedure is at 3:00 in the afternoon. I have to stop drinking water by midnight on Sunday. I hope I can pull this off. I'm feeling a little bit stressed by it all.
Here is what I am eating today (plus the cake) - pre-op
Breakfast - granola, yogurt, raspberries
Snack - banana/PB2 smoothie, almonds
Lunch - tuna, green salad
Snack - cherries, walnuts
Dinner - salad, chicken

Happy Friday, all!
It's sunny here, and not as windy as yesterday so I may be able to go for a bike ride today; yay!
Last night I had the best walk of my life; just before sunset I did a nature trail that winds around a beaver pond. I was able to get up close to a beaver, who was eating twigs and leaves, less than a foot away from me. It was really sweet. I also had a nice "chat" with a friendly young redwinged blackbird, who hopped down the railing to stand right beside me, singing away. It was really comical and I was able to take a nice video of him.
Someone stole my good camera and my replacement camera is just a cheap point and shoot and doesn't do the critters justice, so I need to save for one.
Yesterday I bought the Fitbit Flex 2, as it's good for walking, biking, and swimming, all 3 of my favorite activities, but it only tracked half of yesterday's walk. I'm going to test it out this weekend and decide whether to keep it or bring it back. It was on sale for $50.00 off the regular price at Best Buy. I was shocked that the small band fit me :-).

Lunch: Tuna salad on English cucumber slices.
Supper: Not sure; I had chicken for the past two days, so maybe shrimp. Def. some sort of protein.
