I am preop on 2nd day of 2 weeks of Opti. Surgery is June 13 in Guelph live in small town in Southwestern Ontario. Good luck to everyone on their journey and hope anyone having surgery has a successful pain free surgery and gets to their goal.

We drove a family friend to her appointments and surgery in 2008 in Michigan. I don't remember who her surgeon was though. I can still remember the waiting room at the facility.

Things were crazy back then with OHIP approval for OOC surgeries. I literally applied, was approved and had my surgery within less than 4 months. Looking back I can honestly say it was too fast. I was not required to do anything in preparation other than my initial consultation with my surgeon and then blood work, bone scan, chest xray for the surgery.

They do things in a different order at St. Joe's. Meeting the surgeon i the finish line for us.
