Good morning all. My husband calls you my Pouch Posse (lol). I like pals better.

I slept so well last night as I was done. Had my first long walk with a friend who has lost 35 lbs. going to a dietician and keeping to plan. Other than my two surgeries, there is little difference to our commitment to planning our food and exercise, feeling challenged and tempted at times, and doing our best to keep our eye on the prize. I thought I might feel sore this morning, but I don't - just energized and well rested. Life is good!

Good morning,

Yesterday I received a last minute invitation to have lunch with my parents at an Italian restaurant. I really wanted the homemade pasta in a Gorgonzola cream sauce but I decided to make a wiser choice (small victory.) I ordered a salad, veal Marsala with grilled veg. I ate 1/2 them packaged the rest up which I enjoyed for dinner. I also had a glass of red wine.

My eats today are exactly what I planned to have yesterday.

Exercise today will be sun salutations, long walk with the dog and maybe swimming. Yesterday's workout was tough and I am quite sore today.

Good morning all. Work today. Went for a long walk. Due to flooding at the beach we ended up climbing some rocks to continue the path. Between that and walking on very soft sand I was a little sore yesterday. Not too bad today. We need to get in longer walks to get in shape for vacation. We were going to go biking but were too tired. Did some more gardening instead.

My daughter is taking me to see Beauty and the Beast movie tonight. I wanted to see it but know DH would not so I asked for this for Mother's Day. Nice to have a mother daughter outing.

Haha that's like a Walmart rollback price for 100. Being that close, I would have taken off my watch, squeezed out another pee, wedding ring off, you get the idea. Check out the dog that hates the scale on Youtube.

Good day everyone!

Had a follow up appointment with my Gyno as I had a hysterscopy and biopsy done in the beginning of April, going in to the procedure I was told I would likely end up having a full hysterectomy this month as I was initially diagnosed with Complex endometrial hyperplasia and menorrhagia about 18 months ago. I've had a biopsy done every 6 months and my first one after being diagnosed came back positive with cancer so we began a progressive hormone treatment, my initial Gyno moved her practice out of town and I was more then 6 months before getting into see the one that took over her practice, when I finally did get to see him he wasn't able to do the biopsy in the office as it is usually done, and after going through my chart said it would be in my best interest to have a full hysterectomy, with that said my follow up appointment revealed that I would not need a hysterectomy, No cancer was found, the hormone treatment has worked and I will continue with it for the next year. What a relief, it's always been weighing heavy on the back of my mind but I'm the type of person that tries not to worry until I'm actually presented with a problem.

Leith that said....I walked home from the appointment and truly appreciated all the positive things that have happened this year, 2017 is definitely going to be my year!

My menu at 23 weeks post op

b - eggbitess

s - 2 laughing cow cheese and 2 melba toast rounds

l - tuna salas

d - Mexican chicken with salsa, fat free sour cream and low fat cheese

s - veggies or fruit with cottage cheese

Have a great day everyone
