I went to the orientation in January. They told me 9-12, but didn't go that long.
They will do an overview of the surgical program and answer any questions. They'll let you know what your responsibilities are moving forward and what to expect if you chose to move on in the program.

So I showed up and they accepted the packet we pre filled in, Many were completing it before the session and during oddly.
I went march 23rd, the room was full and a nice lady did a power point presentation.
She explained the Medical Program and the Surgical program. Gave us a copy of the slide show and some information packets.
You get to bring one supportive person with you (please make sure they're supportive and don't dominate or try to talk you out of it so you can be open and receptive)
Then you fill in form picking one
1) I am interested in moving forward with the surgical program
2) I am interested in moving forward with the medical program
3) I am deferring for 30 days my decision
4) I am no longer interested.
You fill that in submit it. Then you wait. The nurse practioner is your first apt they need all your paperwork and initial bloodwork done and received before they call( I had my blood work done March 3rd and they forgot to send mind otherwise I wouldn't be doing my next apt Monday)

Thanks so much for the information. Makes it easier for me and I wish you the best in your journey as well! I did the core-shake program at the TOH WMC in 2012 and needless to say I lost and gained. Sure sick of yo yo dieting.
