Great menu Ginny! And love that you were at the gym already! I did a run last night and man it was sooooo nice to see the sun shining. Have fun at lunch today on your run! Sorry to hear the exam was brutal. I suck at tests, I get so much anxiety that I did not study enough I tend to blank, so glad those days are behind me!

have an awesome day!

Good morning :)

My doctor agreed with changing my meds again, so I'm doing a one-week test run. I didn't take it last night and I didn't sleep a wink. However, I'm feeling very clear-headed this morning, so that is a good sign to me.

Today I'm observing interviews. Thankfully I can call in, but sitting for 3+ hours listening to people talk about themselves is not my idea of fun. Later I have a massage appointment at the college. I wish their appointments were just a bit longer. By the time the student does their assessment and then makes suggestions at the end there's only maybe 30-40 minutes for treatment. They used to be longer, but I'm guessing they make more money this way.

Breakfast - Greek yogurt, sausage

Snack - carrots and pb (I will have to mute the call so they don't hear me crunching away)

Lunch - soup, turkey

Snack - egg, pickles

Dinner - tbd. I'm hoping burgers, hold the bun ;)

Snack - pudding

All water and vits.

Good morning everyone. Ginny I am with you, working out first thing in the morning gives me such a lift for the rest of the day. I'm sure that you did better than you think on the exam.

Meg I would love to go get a massage at the college, this old body needs it.

Yesterday was another gruelling day and I hurt. I so wanted to throat punch a few people in my meetings, but I maintained my yoga zen and smiled. Did way too much in the garden again but I am trying to get everything done before I head south in a few weeks. I'm not sure how long I'll be gone so I want to make it as easy as possible for DH while I'm away.

This morning is swimming, then errands, errands, and more errands, maybe a little more in the garden, and tonight a yoga class.

The eats today at 2.5 years post-op are:

Rivers of decaf coffee with Vanilla Premier Protein used as creamer/sweetener (buy the end of the day I will have had 1 shake)

Poached egg on ham with a little Hollandaise

Bacon/Cheddar hamburger with a fried egg on top (no bun)

SKYR yogurt with all the fixin's

Have a great day everyone.

They think I've been getting headaches because of my hip injury and all the muscles sort of being connected. I've been working my way up my back to my neck and things are starting to feel better. I need to be better about prevention... Stretches and strengthening.

Good morning everyone. Ginny, I hope the exam went well.

More gardening yesterday. My DH is driving me crazy. He nagged me until I gave in and started the seeds way too early. Yesterday he just would not hear me when I said it was too early to plant them. We will see if they last with the temps going low at night. He needs another project!

Work is grueling today. I took last Thursday off due to illenss and today I have that much more to do. It is also year-end so lots to reconcile.

b greek yogurt, go lean cereal, blueberries

l left over meatloaf with salsa, source yogurt

s baby bel

d souvlaki, tzatziki, broccoli

s laughing cow and breton crackers.

So my ankle/foot felt better by the end of the day and I played volleyball last night. We won all 3 sets so we move onto the championship game. I was planning on not jumping but that went out the window when I started playing. My ankle/foot felt great and way better than it had all day. No pain at all. Today - the pain is back (my hubby gave me crap for playing). it's not horrible but it's not wonderful either. I'll keep off of it for the rest of the week to give it a rest. I have to do a project for my son (well help). He's 7.5 and obsessed with Russia since he found out he's part Russian.

B: Premier Protein

L: Homemade Chilli

S: raw veggies with dill dip

D: Homemade Chilli

S: 1/2 premier protein after ball practice (my son not me)

Cals: 592, Protein 71, Carbs 45

Hi all,

It's another windy, cold day here; bleah! I guess I won't be walking or biking so swimming it is! So looking forward to the pool...and the hot tub, lol.

I had to go to another big family gathering, my Aunt's 75th birthday, and I was good and ate shrimp and apple slices while everyone had fresh baked rolls, luncheon meats, cake, cookies, chips and dip, cheesies, mountains of chocolates, and more donuts (my main want this week, lol). Later, when the pizza came out, I ate the cheese and pepperoni topping from one small slice. So I was OK, but boy, am I glad to be back to normal days without temptations everywhere I look, lol.

Breakfast: ham

(late) Lunch: premier protein shake, chocolate (I'll take it to the pool with me).

Supper: Not sure, but protein based.

Snack: Strawberries, if I remember to buy them.

Throughout the day: herbal tea with premier protein as whitener, water. All vitamins.

Pre-Op Visit: Jan. 10, 2017, weight 304, surgeon: Dr. David Lindsay, St. Joe's, Toronto
