I can't resist -- another timeline question!

I know these are very common and I tried to hold off, but I'm so impatient. I'm in Ottawa and met the surgeon on Monday (May 1). They didn't give me a date when I was there. How long do you usually wait to get the date in Ottawa?

I am not in Ottawa. I'm sure the folks there will chime in soon. In the meantime, try typing Ottawa surgery date or something like that to see what you can find) if you're as impatient as me! Lol.

I am also through the WMC in Ottawa. I got my call about 12 days after meeting the surgeon. Surgery was 3 weeks later. They will give you a few dates to choose from

Sounds about right. Could not have been more than a week or two before getting the call to book surgery.

Thanks for humouring me! I'm a little worried about getting a call three weeks before the scheduled date. Ideally, I'd like to give work more notice, but I guess in the grand scheme of things, it's not too bad.

I know I actually pretty lucky -- this has gone super quickly for me, and I'll realize that afterward, for sure!

You have moved rapidly through the stages. I had my orientation at the Civic in January and have only had my first pre-surgery class. I hope you get a call soon. Keep us updated!

I got my date today! Mid-June. Woot!! I'm not sure why it's going for quickly for me...I'm with BMI. Maybe that's the difference? Thanks for your feedback, everyone!
