Approx. how long of a wait until actual surgery date?

It can vary...if you call for cancellations it can be quicker...mine was 8 months my hubby was 13 months from orientation.

May also depend on medical history and if extra tests are required.

My orientation was April 2016 and I had surgery 9 months later.

I called for cancellations and asked for cancellations at the end of every appointment.

That's what I plan to do for every appointment... I already did with my orientation and got it moved up 3 weeks!! And the lady was so nice about it!

That advice is pure gold. I am so thankful for it!!

They will tell you in orientation that it will approx be about a year from orientation date... Some people get it quicker if they get cancellations and such... I will be 15 mths from referral...and a 1yr from orientation date...

But it's almost less than a month now until surgery..and so can't wait!!
