Weight Loss Half Way Point - Only 10 weeks in (post-op) - WOO HOO
Today I am down another 4 lbs since my last weigh in on April 11th. Today represents 10 weeks post-op for me.
That makes my total loss 88 Lbs from when I started this journey at 404Lbs.
Other than the 22 pounds I lost pre-Opti on my own by just changing my eating habits, I am down another 66 Pounds since I started Opti on Jan 18th.
It's incredible and cannot believe I am 16 Lbs away from being able to get in a Kayak rated for 300lbs. I can't wait to get out on the water again.
I am staring to have a few issues with skin between my thighs. I had an issue with skin problems to start with anyway, but now the extra skin just seems to be causing more friction thus inflaming the original problem. Oh well, it's minor in my mind compared to being almost dead from Obesity.
The positives far out weigh any loose skin issues we'll all be dealing with IMO.

Glad to hear from you Wayne - I've been thinking about you and wondering how you are. I just said on the "What are you eating today" thread that this journey if full of both rewards and challenges. Your comment that your challenge of skin issues is better than death from obesity concentrates on the rewards - just what we're meant to do. Way to go!
