Pre-op tomorrow at TWH
i cant speak to TWH.. but i assume most are the same. this is what you would do if you were at guelph, you meet with a nurse and go over your medical history, get blood work done, meet the anesthesiologist, get the time youre to go to the OR at on the day of surgery...

I was at St. Joe's in Toronto. First I had to register, and then I was taken to a meeting with my surgeon. Dr. Lindsay explained the procedure, answered all of my questions, asked me a few, and spent about 20 minutes with me. Then I met with the nurse, the anasthesiologist, pharmacist, and some other people. I think I had some blood taken, and I was weighed. I met the whole team that day, and afterward went to the surgeon's office to pick up 3 weeks worth of Optifast. There was enough to fill a small suitcase, after taking the packets out of their boxes.
