Surreal

Thank you to all of the people that post regularly. You have all been very inspirational to me. After many many years of dieting (loosing and gaining) you have given me so much hope that my life is about to change and that I can do this. After researching, reading, listening (podcasts), I am very hopeful that I will be able to maintain the weight that is good for me. I know that the road ahead is not going to be easy, but it is doable. I have so much hope today, although the whole thing seems a little surreal given that it has always been a dream of mine to a smaller size. A few days ago, I went to the pre-nutrition session and I have my first appointment (nurse) next week. Things are moving along. I have no idea when my surgery will be. All I know is that it will happen and that is good enough for me today!

Congratulations on the decision. It's a life changer for sure.
