food review please
Your menu is great. I've had a rougher time recovering and with food and maybe she is the same. I'm still not eating that much and it sucks. I am trying to increase but I'm finding I can't do it.
You are doing great.

I think your menu looks great. My goals were to get to 800 calories by month 2 and 900 by month 3 to avoid shutting down my metabolism. My wls team advised me not to restrict calories during the weight loss phase or my metabolism would slow down and I'd have to eat very low calories to maintain. You can see that in some of the vet's meal plans. I've seen vets maintaining on 650 calories! I know other vets who are struggling to stop losing in the 1400-1700 calorie range...so I prefer to follow their plans. For me months 3-6 were between 900-1,000 calories and I'm now holding at 1,000-1,050 a day and that is comfortable for me, I'll probably expand that to 1,100 next month. Hoping maintenance will be in the 1,200-1,400 calorie a day range. Most of the people on the same plan as me are maintaining in the 1,400-1,750 calorie a day diet depending on activity level.
