Really silly post but....
I just had to check in and say I'm sleeping with my cpap machine for the first time tonight! I feel like Darth Vader or that villain with the mask in the Dark Knight movie but I actually don't mind it...so far. Here's to good night sleeps in the future!!!
Goodnight everyone!!

it takes a few days to get used to and if you have too many issues with the mask, go try another. All places that I have dealt with have a 30 day replacement policy so if I had issues with a mask I could go and exchange for a different one.
When I first started my Cpap about 15 years ago, my kids were young so the Darth Vader schtick got used alot. With my Wife, I would lye in bed with the machine on and try saying certain words. Most were ok but the Number one was always tricky as the positive air pressure would just blow threw my mouth while saying it. Lol
Thank you for all the replies!! So it definitely does make breathing easier. However I'm going to have to change the face mask. Currently I have a full face mask which is good when I'm just going to sleep, however when the pressure ramps up in the middle of the night, air is literally bursting out of the seal (which has been waking me up). I'm going to go back to the shop today and ask for a nasal mask :)
