it seems as if TWH is getting pushed further and further back. Guelph seems quite a bit quicker. Not sure about the other centres.

I am being sent to Toronto as they are the only site that will remove my band in one surgery :(

They told me they don't really assign a surgeon...I had a surgeon assigned when I was booked for today's appointment...Timothy Jackson as well. But they said there are 4 available surgeons and it would be one of them doing the surgery.

I had a lap band and they offered to send me back to the same surgeon who placed it. Dr. Cyriac. I really don't have a preference. But it was offered to stick to the same one.

These waits are far to long :-(. I understand it's a process and some time is good but things are getting so bad. I certainly understand how everyone feels! This should be no more than 1 year from referral to surgery. I am over 15 months and these last few months are the hardest.

I also was not told a surgeon. I figured I would ask at pre-op, however it really does not make a difference in the end. I will take whoever I get.

It really sounds like whoever is available that day will do the surgery. I'm wondering if they will even know at pre-op
