Surgery Date at TWH!
I had my surgeon appointment at TWH. Be prepared everyone getting their appointments soon....my surgery date was booked for August 4th! That's almost a 5 month wait!!! Far cry from the 2 to 3 month wait they mentioned.
I know I should be happy, but right now I'm shocked and disappointed.
Orientation:Dec 12/16 Nurse:Jan 5/17 SW:Jan 10/17 Psyhc: Jan 10/17 Nut. Class: Jan 17/17 Nut. 1 on 1:Feb 1/17 Surgeon: Mar.17/17 Surgery Date: Apr. 7/17 - NO OPTI.

they seem to be getting further and further out!

Pre-Op=8.8lbs --- Optifast= 8.4 (was on it for 9 days due to cancellation)
M1 - 20.6... M2 -10.2... M3 -8.0... M4 -5.8... M5 -9.0... M6 -5.2... M7 -7.0... M8 -2.2... M9 -0.9... M10 -2.6... M11-0.6... M12-2.0
That's what I said to my husband! When I was there in February they were booking in April...so 2 months out (they had cleaned up the back-log) and now they are nearly 5 months out?! How does that happen so quick?

I really don't quite understand it myself. I'm guessing summer vacations plays into it.

Yeah.. I had my surgeon appt on Feb 24th..and was shocked that it was a June date they gave me.... seems like we are waiting forever. But they did tell us at the orientation that it could a year from then... and I'm just shy of a year...so I guess I should count myself as lucky...
But it's so hard to wait... especially when we are so close to the end

crazy that you, Michelle had your appt just under a month ago, but your surgery is 2 months sooner than someone who had theirs today. I bet it has something to do with the summer schedules of the surgeons.

Yes.. probably...still a long way to wait... :( but worth it in the end.. Did you put yourself on the cancellation list... I did... but don't think they will call...lol

Holly I had my surgeon appt today as well. Mine is set for Aug 1st. I was kind if taken back when I got my date but am still happy I got a date. Best of luck to all of us Auguse peeps ;)
