Cream Soups? In Canada??
Hello All,
I am fairly new to this site, I am scheduled to have my surgery in a few days on March 21st at Toronto Western Hospital and I am trying to get a few last minute supplies. One being the cream soups, which ones are safe to use and buy. I am totally lost with this. I live in Canada and I don't seem to find any low in fat, low in carbs, low in sugars etc. If anyone have any suggestions of what they used I would really appreciate the help.
Thank you!
Melissa
Campbells has tons of options. Remember that youre only eating TO A MAX OF 1/4 cup after surgery for quite some time.... low fat optiosn in crema of mushroom celery and broccoli... try loblaws

Thanks for the suggestion. I was so worried because I didn't think those canned soups were acceptable because of the fat and carb stats but your right those stats are for a much larger portion. Thank you!
Sounds like you are going through Guelph? Clear fluids for one week then full fluids for 3 weeks. This helps us heal. I have less than a week of full fluids left. Campbell's has a lot of choices and knors has cream of leak. I also found some squash and roasted red pepper that was good. Follow the guides of your surgeon. Lots of different plans on this forum depending on where surgery took place.

That does sound like Guelph. Don't buy a lot of soups. I still have soup in the cupboard that i never did eat. I have to bring out my crockpot and add some to some chicken.
