Today was Pre-admission. It is finally coming to something

It has been unreal for so long. it has been a hope a dream an inspiration. but not a reality. today they *****ed my arm and took vials of blood, did an ecg and checked my weight and height the height was the same the weight well i weigh less now than i have in about 7 years. since my weight spurt that put me over the three hundreds.

today it was real. my anesthesiologist was so bubbly and excited. it was infectious i am so ready for this. even with the two weeks of opti promising a long haul (but so worth it)

i am ready. i am ready for this real honest change in my life. this positive change in my life.

I am with TGH and my surgery is the 27th thanks for asking. it is a great feeling. even if it is accented by a deluge of opti shakes. lol. i am picking up some broth for the rest of this week and some mio water accents. i am right now not getting enough water. i am not actually that upset about the opti when i had a weight loss doctor we tried to do the opti route for total weight loss and i was on opti for about a month. i was to be on it for the foreseeable future and let me tell you it is a whole heck of a difference having an end date in sight.

Your almost there! I get what you mean, the process is long, and your finally so close, and it becomes so real not some distant possibly in the future. I'm having surgery in two days, and I can't believe it.

i am having it on march 27th so less than two weeks now. and i am having it at Toronto western hospital

it is alll a bit overwhelming.

there is so much going on right now in the rest of my life. they have offered to put off but i am going to go through with it (barring tragedy knock on wood)

in fact i am about to make a general post on that now.

please weigh in if you can i could really use the advice.

Guess I need to save lots of seats on the losers bench; it seems so many are having surgery in the next few weeks! So exciting.
