What are you eating/doing today? (Monday)
Good morning lovely menu peeps. Had one of those nights where you toss and turn so I decided to sleep in a little. This morning I'm going to yoga, then work on that mountain of laundry that I barely made a dent in yesterday.
The eats today at 2.5 years post-op are:
Large volumes of decaf
Scrambled eggs with fresh salsa and hot peppers (the heart wants what the heart wants)
Salad with Bolthouse Cilantro/Avocado dressing and steak
The same salad as above with shrimp
SKYR yogurt with all the fixin's
Have a great day everyone.

Good morning :)
I'm scared of this snow storm that's coming... Thankfully my brother is here to help shovel ;)
Took puppy 1 to the groomers today, so she will be all spiffy. She loves going but the last two times she has put the brakes on when we got there.
Later I have a doctor's appointment. Might try to have a nap in between.
Breakfast - protein shake
Snack - carrots and pb
Lunch - ham sandwich
Snack - yogurt, pepperette
Dinner - pork and veg
Snack - pudding
All water and vits.
Well post tooth extraction I'm back to regular foods, though I'm not sure I'm supposed to be but I can't take the soft foods any more. Not looking forward to the snow storm coming today. My turn to do daycare pickup so will have to leave an hour and a half early probably (based on the last time).

it is easy and soo good
dressing:
1 1/2 tsp of rice vinegar
1/2 tsp of water
1 rounded tablespoon of PB2
1 tsp of soysauce
1 squirt of liquid Splenda (small squirt)
That makes 1 serving
I keep a bag of chopped nappa cabbage in the fridge. It keeps for longer than lettuce
I use Nappa cabbage, red peppers, green onions, cucumbers and cilantro. I top with 3 oz of shrimp...I buy the precooked frozen shrimp from costco and just thaw in a little warm water while I'm prepping the salad. it is easy quick and delicious! top with some peanuts if you want. I watch my fat intake, but if you aren't add 1/2 tsp of sesame oil to the dressing to make it even better.

Not feeling as awful today as I have been so antibiotics must be working.
I have been sleeping so much better since surgery, it amazes me, I was never able to sleep more then 4 hours and now I'm getting 7 or 8 without having to go from my bed to my recliner due to back pain, with that said I totally slept in today, now I'll feel off track for the day lol
Going out walking this evening (I've been walking with a friend who has designated me to helping her lose weight and get active) I'm aiming for 5K as I do this comfortably

d - 2 oz chicken stir fry with steamed veggies, NO rice!
s - 1/2 can tuna with light mayo and diced pickles
Have a great day everyone
