1 Week post op - GOALS!
Hi Everyone!
Well i'm one week out and FEELING SOOO much better. I still feel a bit "emotional" but I wonder if it's hormones. I was supposed to have my period on March 1 - the day of surgery but I'm so happy that it was late and I got it today...so that can all factor in.
My pouch is happy with most liquids, it's a little iffy on the premier protein, so i've switched to my KAIZEN powder which I tolerate without issue. I also am LOVING MY BROTHS (i mean how great is that?! considering how exciting can broth be?) but I like it, it feel like a warm hug! I also am managing to hit the 60 protein goal, I mean it's a lot of creativity to get it all in but it's going...
I'm down 13 pounds and it's most noticeable in my feet and ankles. I used to have a LOT of swelling but now all my shoes are too big. I can also fit back into my Xl/L tops. I haven't tried on any pants because I'm a pear...and the bottom half is always the last to change.
Thank you again for all your support and advice, it really helped me through.
RNY March 1, 2017 with Dr. Reed.
