TWH Dr. Timothy Jackson
Don't be surprised if your surgeon changes on the day. I was supposed to have Dr. Okrainec but ended up with Dr. Jackson last minute on the day. He has great academic credentials and an amazing bedside manner. My surgery was flawless, no complications and I barely have scars. He was great at answering my questions and was very reassuring. All the staff in the department kept telling me how lucky I was to get him as my surgeon. He followed up several times while I was in hospital, despite being very busy with non-bariatric emergency surgeries. He even called to apologize for not being there to check me out himself and sending his resident to do so. Couldn't recommend him more highly. I had a perfect result. He was also 100% supportive of my decision to have a sleeve instead of RNY.
