I've got pneumonia

So, I am feeling like crap. I spent the entire day at the ER. I thought it was just my asthma, and after almost 8 hours in the ER, found out I have pneumonia. So now I'm on antibiotics and hopefully they will work to clear things up.

The doctor ran blood work, did an xray and checked my heart as he is concerned about a blood clot. It took 3 nurses 3 times each to get one vial of good blood, and the doctor is going to call me tomorrow with the results. He said I may need to go back in tomorrow for a CAT scan.

I needed 3 asthma treatments in a row and am still coughing/short of breath/wheezing. Hopefully I'll feel better in a few days once the antibiotics work. I have to take 3 big pills all at once, but the only way I can take them is to chop each pill into 4 pieces first, and then sip water with them. The pharmacist said that is fine.

Thank you! I've got my trusty heating pad, and my mom made me some home made chicken soup and skimmed off everything so I just have a nice, clear broth.

Well isn't that just peachy. You are having a heck of a time there Kathy and I really hope it gets figured out this time. Take your time healing as I know you will. Hopefully you will be up and about again in no time.

I feel badly for you! Life has not been easy for you lately. Thank God that Pneumonia is treatable and with some much needed rest you will be back on track soon...
