Don't panic. Gas has gotta go at some point. I found the warmth helped and walking. I also sat a bit longer on the toilet to see if something might happen.... and it did. Every little bit counts. Welcome home. Rest and sip. Every day is better and better. I'm now at 9 days.

I'm feeling amazingly well. Water and sipping gets better all the time but pay attention to what your intake is. Don't get too distracted once you start feeling better. Make sure you stay active as much as you can manage without over doing it.

I love homemade chicken veggie soup pureed. I had it day two of puree foods. It was amazing.

Do what they say to do and all is well. I'm going for an outing for breakfast today and going to have oatmeal. :) Excited to join some friends for breakfast. Try foods at home before going out.... just in case the bathroom is busy or too far away.

I'm glad your home and feeling better!

I was on yesterday in the wee hours of the morning, and over looked your post about having surgery. I knew it was coming up, so sorry I didn't respond and offer my support. Haven't been on regularly this last week, but nonetheless, like I said above glad your home.

Wishing you all the best, and a speedy recovery!

I'm not having the easiest time on Opti. Lost over 6lbs in three days, so that's nice lol. I am excited that surgery is coming up, but I think getting through Opti has made me start missing food and realizing I can't eat what I want anymore...it's an adjustment. It's getting better, day 1 really sucked!! I'm just taking it day by day.

How are you feeling today? Hope your gas pains have subsided!

I'm so glad you are home and that everything went well!

I used a heating pad to help with the pain.

Big hugs!

Kathy

Glad you are home and resting at home is always better anyway. Yea the gas pains are real but will pass before you know it. Keep yourself hydrated and walk when you can as the gas moves down them bowels.

You got this girl and believe me soon you won't even remember the gas pains
