What are you eating/doing today? (Sunday)
Hi CC, I want the sun back too. I am so very sick of snow. We've had over 11 feet of snow so far this year. Crazy! Thank God some of it melted in January during the thaw before it started up again in February.
I'm 26 days Post OP RNY, and back on my pureed diet after going back on full liquids for 3 days. It seems my pouch was just not ready for purees yet. My system seems to be a week behind what my booklet advises, lol.
My food:
Breakfast: No sugar added apple sauce with extra cinnamon. I only allow myself this once a week because there is no protein, and because of the natural sugars in fruit.
Lunch: Caramel flavored Premier Protein
Supper: Eggface's Ricotta bake with extra sauce to make it smoother to pacify my pouch. Yum.
Snack: Chocolate premier protein shake.

Kathy that's very wise to take it slow right now. Did you hear from your Centre re the staples that showed on your test?

I didn't hear anything about the clips because they are waiting for my family doctor to fax the report. He was off work on Friday.
I'm going for my 1 month post op appointment in Sudbury on the 28th, at 8 Am. It's a 4 hour drive one way, more in bad weather, so my Dad and I are leaving tomorrow after noon, so we won't have to worry about hurrying. I booked a hotel room in Sudbury for tomorrow night. Sudbury is the liaison between me and Toronto so hopefully they'll have some answers.

Well if you ever make it across the border I discovered cheesecake flavoured jello not fat puddings in Texas at Walmart. I make my chia pudding with
1 vanilla premier protein
2tbs chia seeds
2tbs pudding mix
makes 2. Mix and leave in the fridge overnight to thicken.
choclate premier with chocolate pudding mix is good too.
