I think this keeps me on track. I'm just not sure what my dailly Calorie intake should be. If Optifast was 900/day, then perhaps my diet should mirror that?
Cheers
Yep. That early I was 4-500. I worked my way up to 900. I was at around 650-750 at 2 months 750-850 at 3 months and 850-950 at 4 months. I am usually 900-960 calories at 5 months post op.

Hi Wayne,
I am 26 days post op and get between 320-550 calories per day. The low days are when I'm just having shakes and water, and the higher calories are when I'm having purees as well as at least one shake.
I've managed to get my minimum 60 grams of protein on all but three of the 26 days since surgery. One day I wasn't feeling good and slept most of the day and that put me off, and the other two days I was only 10 g short. I always get my water in.
I tried Eggface's famous Ricotta bake last night and it was really good, but I had to add extra sauce to make it smoother for my picky pouch. I'm good with pureed egg salad, refried beans, Greek or Skyr yogurt (very high protein), and fat free cottage cheese. I tried no sugar added apple sauce and like it but limit it to once a week because of the sugar content in fruit.
I have to leave for Sudbury tomorrow for my 1 month post op visit, but when I get back I am going to try some Butternut squash. I love butternut squash and have been craving it. There are 22 carbs in half a cup, but I can't eat half a cup of anything yet; I'll try a quarter cup.
It's nice that you can handle chicken. My parents had chicken today and it smelled wonderful. I have some canned chicken that I can turn into pureed chicken salad when I get back from Sudbury. I haven't tried chicken yet. I'm just bringing some cottage cheese cups and premade cream soups with me to Sudbury, along with my shakes and water, of course. My Dad is driving me; it's only a 4 hour drive one way but it's calling for more snow tomorrow so it might take longer. We'll have to spend one night in a hotel.

Wayne, I am so glad to see you posting. i am going to be busy this coming week, but I hope that you will continue to post. Do you use My Fitness Pal? It's great for tracking your food and giving you your totals for the day.
Guelph told us that you want to be around 600 calories per day during the losing phase.
