Protein water - ISOpure and revolution splash
i really dislike protein shakes. At our nutrition class this week, was told I should be drinking them for at least 6 months. I was reading about protein water and thought this might be my solution.
I bought ISOpure at Longos (was shocked to see it there) 40g of protein in 1 bottle, 0 carbs. Figured a half bottle each day should do the trick. Oh - it's awful!!!! Tastes like metal.
Anyone have experience with Revolution Splash? Looks like I can only by a large container and can't sample before hand.
Any feedback would be appreciated!

Have you tried the Leanfit powder (I prefer chocolate) from Costco. It is inexpensive and tastes great. It has the consistency of water and when mixed with warm water - especially using a shaker, you can drink it right down with no aftertaste. I have to work on the sip - not chug philosophy. I'm a guzzler of water.
I haven't tasted the other, but then again, I won't do Buckley's either (lol).

Popeyes and GNC both have fruit flavoured protein that isn't creamy. Just add it to water. Make sure that you buy protein shakes that are made with whey protein isolate. The others proteins like calcium caseinate, collogan, etc. are not absorbed well by our rearranged guts.

DON'T mix it with ho****er, just warm water from the tap. I tried it once and it gets clumpy and quite disgusting. 120 calories, 24 g. of protein and 1 g. of sugar. Also made with Whey Protein Isolate.
Good luck.

Guelph discourages protein shakes. If you are having difficulty getting in your protein in the first few weeks they will allow it. They approved me for protein shakes in the morning because I exercise early and feel queasy if I exercise with anything in my stomach first thing in the morning.
