Can't Find Low Sugar/High Protein yogurt

Since the fall I've been living in KW. I've noticed since the new year hit I can't find individual greek yogurt or any similar low sugar/high protein single serve yogurts any more! I've been to Zehrs, Superstore, Wal Mart, Sobeys, etc.

Was Source Greek discontinued? I'm so annoyed...these lil guys were great for snacks, and now I can only find high protein/high sugar yogurt, or low sugar/low protein.

I have been able to buy Source Greek Yogurt at Walmart and Freshco very recently.  I would talk to the manager and find out why they are no longer carrying it.  Have you tried Skyr Yogurt?  They now should be carrying a individual 4 pack at Zhers... I believe and it is greek yogurt and very high in Protein... sugar is considered low and lots of people are eating it.

Good Luck!!

I have been looking everywhere for no sugar high protien yogurt as well, I don't think it exists.  What would be an OK sugar level in an individual yogurt. The TWH nutrition binder says under 10 grams of sugar per serving.  I am still pre-op so what if I have 4 different things in a run of a day with 10 gr of sugar that is 40 gr a day, what should the daily intake be for sugar?

I hope this makes sense.

Thank you.

The dietician told me to remember that "8 is Enough" so I look for anything that has lower than 8g of sugar.  It's been tough to find Greek Yoghurt that is less than 8g.

I know it's not quite as convenient, but I like to mash a bit of banana into plain Greek yogurt. I also know some people add sugar free jam to their yogurt. I wish they would bring back the good source Greek yogurts. I've been buying mine in the states.

I contacted the yogurt company because of this and they have discontinued many of the flavours.  I have seen the large lemon/raspberry single serve packs recently in Sobeys.  I buy the PC plain SKYR (21g of protein, no added sugar) and flavour it with Skinny Syrups, or water enhancers, or protein powders.  I like the texture.  You can buy little disposable tupperware containers that are a perfect size and cheap.  I wash them and reuse them.  They hold about 1/2 cup in volume.  The ones that are clear with a red lid.

I do love Skyr! they have individual ones now too but not plain yet :( I can't fuss with tupperwares because I want something I can take on the go, and I just end up losing them/throwing them away, but maybe if I get desperate enough....

I'm also part of the skyr fan club. I buy the plain and weigh out a 100g portion. For flavouring, I add a bit of vanilla, and/or mashed berries. Yesterday I tried cocoa. It's less tart than Greek yogurt, so it doesn't need as much sweetener. Toppings are either bran buds, toasted almonds or shaved coconut or a couple of berries.
