How much food at one time

So I'm almost four months out and wondering in terms of quantity at one sitting, were should I be now? I'm within calor range but sometimes I'm still hungry after the half cup. Not sure if I can go up to a full cup now?

My hubby is 4 months out and he is at a cup of food and has been for a couple months now.  We are with TWH and that's within their guide.  Not all people can eat a cup due to pouch size.

Good luck!!

I had surgery in Ottawa, and my handout says diet for life portion size should be 3/4-1 cup per meal.

Im 5 months out and most meals fall in that. Unless it's very dense protein, then a bit under 3/4.

for most meals, I weigh my protein, then put it in a measuring cup and add whatever else I'm planning to have. If it's something high in my rotation, I'm comfortable eyeballing, but will still spot chec****asionally, to keep on track.

What is the average weight of your protein cooked?

I read the lifetime portion but wasn't sure if it applied 4 months out.

I'm pretty consistently at 3oz. The odd time some cuts of beef or chicken is less, sometimes shrimp too. But pork or tofu, fish and other seafood, I'm sure i could eat 4 oz easy. I don't though. But when my hunger comes back, I probably will, while keeping the overall meal to a cup max.

I aim for 70g protein total a day. I still use a protein shake for breakfast to get me there though.

so far the above is working for me :)

What's your total calories?

I'm at 800 cal and I still do the shake in the morning to give me 30 g but I aim for 60 g total

I still keep mine around 600,but keep in mind I eat fewer carbs than the Bariatric clinic recommends. 30 is my max. I try to stay under 25. And that usually comes from low starch veg, dairy( like yogurt or sometimes cottage cheese) and bran buds or flax seeds. Occasionally I'll have lentils or beans too. No simple carbs.
