Good morning gang!  Tomorrow marks month 10!  May or may not post.  We're going to Medieval Times show!  Should be a good time.  Have a hair appointment in the morning so I'll be looking sweet.

No real plan today because I've lost my care.   Think I will just take some premier protein with me and have those throughout the day.  I'm sure this is just a blip but I'll roll with it.  Not going to the gym tonight either....in a funk.  I'll make mindful choices over the weekend and get back on the horse on Monday.   I guess I just need to feel "normal" but I can't even do that because I'm not normal.  Fat girl trying to get skinny problems!

Anyway, you all have a great day!

Over 100 lbs lost! and 13 lbs below goal weight!

I hope you feel better soon Ginny.  There's supposed to be some sunshine tomorrow, hopefully that will help.

I'm sticking to what worked the past two days.   I've just swapped the scrambled eggs with egg salad and added a hummus.  Everything is going down well, no issues.   I'm struggling to force myself to eat slower, my body doesn't seem to mind if I go fast.

B - egg salad

L - refried beans with cheese

D - tuna with light mayo

S - Premier protein shake

S - hummus

I plan to make the ricotta bake later today, that might change one of my meals.   We'll see if I find time.

Hi Tracks,

Are you in the puree stage?  Only 4 more days til I am and I am looking forward to it, lol. Are some brands of refried beans better than others?

Hi Kathy!  I'm enjoying the puréed stage very much.   I've been eating the Old El Paso brand.  There doesn't seem to be much selection at the stores near me.  It's only 0.5g of fat.

i strongly recommend the ricotta bake from the welcome to egg face site.  It may be too yummy!

glad to hear your terrible pain is almost over.  Everyday will just keep getting better and better.

Thanks for letting me know!  I'm really looking forward to the pureed stage, especially the ricotta bake and the refried beans, lol.

I know it's just head hunger because I'm not hungry at all, but I would like some texture besides soups and shakes, lol.

Hi Ginny, have fun at Medieval times, and enjoy your day off from WLS obsessions, lol.

I am day 10 Post-Op RNY; cant' believe it.  So happy that the brutal pain is finally gone.  I still have discomfort but I can so live with that.

Today was the first day I could have a shower and wash my hair without literally groaning from the pain.

Breakfast;  Vanilla Premier Protein

Lunch:  30 ml veggie juice (I used the little medicine cup from the hospital as a cup)

Dinner:  Strawberries and Cream Premier Protein

Snack:  Possibly an espresso cup of cream of mushroom soup, or chicken broth.

Water is not going down well today or yesterday and I have to constantly remind myself to keep sipping. I'm getting in my fluids but it's a constant struggle.

Mr. Pouch is full today.  I can only take the tiniest sips of anything, then have to wait ages before I can have more. This is the first time I've had that uncomfortably full feeling.  What causes that, when there's hardly anything in there?

All vitamins.

Well I quit my job today and start with another agency on Monday. Lots of changes happened since November and it's a dead end Job for me. Yay! Then I came home, did dishes, had a bath, watched a movie and cleaned the living room. I'm going to take my son to baseball and then come home and relax.

B- premier protein

L- egg salad

S- laughing cow on a piece of Melba toast

D - egg salad

S - 1/2 premier protein

Cals 389, protein 55 and carbs 15

Can't believe my 1 month checkup is on Wednesday. Crazy. I also don't feel ready for the soft foods stage. Maybe I'm just nervous or scared for it. I ate too fast the other day and got the foamies. It was disgusting. However I am enjoying the puree stage.
