Silly question
I don't understand why there is an Ontario Bariatric Network for all sites but they don't follow the same guidelines or don't offer the same resources for before, during and after the procedures. I really thought it would be the same all over Ontario.

I'm actually in Quebec. On the border of Ontario/Quebec and had my surgery in Montreal. I met my surgeon once, 4 years before my surgery and then again in the operating room. Before that I met with the coordinator of the program and they set up the tests I needed beforehand and was given 3 pages of instructions. One page about pre-op, one page, post-op and one page maintenance. I had to go to a group nutritional class which was entirely in french!! I hear of people having to have a phys exam but I had nothing like that.
To Thine Own Self Be True!!
I'm from Asbestos, Quebec and live 1 hour from Ottawa and about 2h from the Quebec/Ontario border of the 401 ;-) My surgeon used to practice in Montreal. From what I can see, lots have changed in the last 4 years.
Glad if the documents can still help you even after 4 years out ;-)

I hope you're upper back is feeling better today. You're lucky you don't have pain.
The meal planner and nutrition package are awesome!

All liquids count so count them all no matter what they are. As for what day post op you then say of surgery is day zero so the next day is one day post op. Always 24 hours after. If you had surgery on a Tuesday then you change stages in a Tuesday.
