Using the Scale
"I have tried to change my attitude towards the scale as it literally used to determine my mood - if it went down I saw it as an opportunity to cheat (makes no sense at all) and if it went up, I would get upset and sometimes self-sabotage."
Yes I can totally relate to this. I guess some of the answer is practise and dedication. I think knowing that one is having surgery would and then having had the surgery would give you a different mind set....the more motivation I can get the better!! Thanks for your input.

That scale sounds awesome. Ok, so now I'm re-thinking this. I guess the problem I have had in the past is that if I stay at one weight for too long I get depressed and start eating again...vicious circle. But, I know that WLS is a tool and I have so much to learn before surgery. Thanks for your reply....Tons to learn and think about. Excited for the journey ahead!
