Very well said Pat.  You have always been so supportive and unselfish with you time in answering questions.  I look at you as inspiration because you deal with pain everyday and keep on trying.    Sending you a PM.

Congrats Pat.  It's nice to have others still on the board after this many years.  You have really improved your life by having WLS and are definitely a poster child for what WLS can do for a person's life.

CONGRATS PAT!!  i remember your name... saw it quite often when i first started out on this site... seemed like pre-surgery i was here every minute of every day (ok i said seemed like!)... and now the visits here are far and few cuz i don't know any of the names... but like you i'm 5 years out too!! and very proud of how far i've come and what i too can accomplish!  the last year's been a rocky road.. as i'm finding maintenance the toughest part of this journey.. and yes, i've had some weight gain but after my 5 year meeting with the clinic i'm in the 43% weight loss bracket as opposed to the 30% that they tell you we'll lose... so ... good for me!!

good luck to everyone who have been lucky enough to be given this magical tool.. and tool we must remember it is! it's up to you to make it work!!

Congrats Pat on 5 healthy successful years!  Thank you for sticking around and helping newbies and novices!

I love how active you are now and how much it appears you are living and loving life.

Sorry to hear about your back/hips/knees. I to have noticed my knees (especially my right knee) are not totally pain free.

Keep up the great work, and keep being an amazing role model for the rest of us!

Cheers to 5 more awesome years!
